Transition Projects
Transition Projects helps people transition from homelessness to housing in the Portland metro area. Each year, we assist more than 10,000 people through a broad array of services, resources, and tools.

On any given day, we help meet the basic needs of more than 700 people experiencing homelessness through our Day Center.

On any given night, we provide a safe place to sleep for more than 800 people with nowhere else to turn.

In any given year, we help place more than 800 people into affordable housing - and then support them in retaining that housing.

Founded in 1969, Transition Projects is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that today employs a staff team of more than 200 working across a network of 9 program sites around Portland.
Worws
Worws
With many bands in the sea of Portland Oregon's music community, WORWS recognizes the importance of maintaining a sharp edge and unique sound. They draw influence from an eclectic array of classics as well as from their friends and family within the scene. Death, The Wipers, and Slayer reign over their record collections along side contemporaries such as Ceremony and Defeater. Formed in October 2015 as a side project, the band quickly became a full time gig and in less than a year their first effort Laylines surfaced. It is a melodic and brutal attack against the societal wrongs and ignorance towards drug abuse; an all out warfare on the gentrification of their city as well as an ode to the importance of community and loyalty. WORWS have waded their way through the oppression of the working class and are here to fight.
Acrossthreehundredseas
We are a chaotic hardcore / melodic metal project: Tyler, El Hijo de Muchas Caras (EL Hi-Jo Day Mooches car-es), Andrew, Seth...
Broodmare
Broodmare
"Sitting somewhere in the gulf between My Bloody Valentine and Converge, Broodmare have been described as "loud doodles with some shouty stuff." This is a poor description, but Broodmare is still pretty fond of it."
Ice Princess
Ice Princess
Scrotiam defeated the Ice Princess in battle in 1015. A spell was cast. She has now arisen from her 1000 year slumber to exact revenge.
The Desolate
The Desolate
Formed in 2008, The Desolate bring their own version of thrash metal to the masses with their blazing chainsaw riffs via guitarists Nick Bielser, Craig Snipes and bassist Josh Sullivan blend perfectly with drummer Clayton McDaniel’s fresh approach to thrash metal drumming. An aural assault of squealing guitars, pounding bass, hammering drums, lacerating speed, brilliant songwriting, and remorseless aggression, The Desolate is a four piece metal band on a mission. These Vancouver, WA transplants honed their craft back in the Midwest, where they quickly made a name for themselves thanks to their devastating songwriting dynamic. Their newest release, “The Great Departure” is a treasure trove of blistering guitar solos, intense drumming, and pounding bass. With songs like “The Sentinel” and “Intergalactic Time Shed”, there is something here for all fans of heavy music. It is an album that was clearly written by musicians who are comfortable playing music together; more focused on pushing themselves to their next level of skill rather then concerning themselves with trying to fit into a certain genre or scene. The Desolate is a four man killing machine set to pave its way into the modern day metal scene.
Phantom Family
Phantom Family
Heavy Punk from a sunless city.
