Jaycob Van Auken
Van Auken's style is incisive and genuine. He is a rock classicist with a singer-songwriter streak. His propensity for blending rock, blues, folk and country allows his songs to move in various directions, while keeping the same destination. It's easy to swamp him with flattering comparisons. Finding a home somewhere in the midst of Tom Petty, Lyle Lovett, Van Morrison and The Faces, Van Auken is somewhat akin to acoustic folk-blues, not quite country, and can rock loud like the best red-blooded Amercians. The expressive immediacy of his voice is distinctive and demands attention, calling to mind the soulful songs recorded back in Muscle Shoals, as well as the rock classics heard in his mom's van while growing up.
The Frequence
Straight-forward American rock with few frills, The Frequence musical influences range from 70's era classic rock, to punk, to the blues. Eric Pastoral (guitar), Todd Murphy (bass) Drew Mork (drums), and Jennifer Nau (vocals) create loud and catchy tunes as well as thoughtful, heartfelt lyrics and melodies.
The Loved
The Loved may be a new name to you, but its members should be no strangers to the ears of Portland, Ore. Led by songwriter and guitarist Lael Alderman, and featuring the rock solid rhythm section of Daven Hall (The Bella Fayes, Thrillbilly) & Jake Endicott (Oh Darling, Revival Drum Shop), this trio believes in the simple power of 3 chords and the truth. They believe every great song needs a great melody. They know music should move you.

The Loved are currently releasing singles for their upcoming full-length album due out later in 2016.
Risley
'Risley' is a new band made up of the collective contributions of some of Portland's more familiar musical voices including members of Tea for Julie, Genders, Typhoon, The Priory, Sunbathe, Paper Brain, Poison Beaches and more.

Michael Deresh has been a fixture of the Portland music community since 1997. He was one of the founding members and organizers of PDXPOPNOW! From 2002-2010, the band he and current bandmate Travis Stanek were in, Tea For Julie, opened for acts like The Lemonheads, Menomena, Snow Patrol, Evan Dando and The Thermals, played the Crystal ballroom 7 times, the Showbox in Seattle, had a song featured on major OSU tv ad and was in heavy rotation on Seattle's KEXP and Portland's KNRK. After several live on-air performances, their album 'Division' was ranked at #53 of KEXP's top 91.3 albums of 2005.

In 2010, he founded Lamplight Recording Studio in SE Portland and has recorded and produced favorite local albums such as Genders' 'Get Lost', Sunbathe's debut, etc. In the meantime, collaborating with many friends, 138 songs were written and recorded over those several years.

Finally, the mass of material was wittled down and put through the refiner's fire. The result is an album full of sonic and genre twists and turns bearing the collective contributions of members of some of Portland's finest talent. It ranges from post-punk to millenial indie rock from dancey to alt-country, and all with a unifying thread of sound and spirit.
